Connecting Webmail to Your Mobile Device

General Information

Thank you for choosing to connect your mobile device to your Trocaire Webmail account. Having your college email available on your phone or tablet is a great way to stay in contact with the college. Before we begin, you must have access to the following information to connect your device:

**Please note that all of these instructions are general guidelines. Your phone may have additional or different steps to complete installation.**

   Android Devices

  1. Tap  EMAIL app on home screen
  2. Tap Menu
  3. Tap Settings
  4. Tap Account & Backup, or Manage Accounts
  5. Tap Add Account (+)
  6. Enter your full Trocaire Webmail address (ex. [email protected]) and your email password.
  7. Tap Manual Setup
  8. Ensure that the following information is entered into the appropriate fields:
    • Domain: Trocaire\username
    • Username: Your Trocaire ID (ex. SmithJ)
    • Password: Your Webmail password
    • Exchange Server: webmail.trocaire.edu
    • Secure Connection: SSL
  9. Tap Next
  10. At Activation window Check Do Not show this again
  11.  Tap  Ok
  12. Remote Security Administration, Tap OK.
   iOS Devices

  1. On your iPhone or iPad open up your device Settings
  2. Tap on Password and Accounts
  3. Select the option to Add Account
  4. Select Exchange
  5. Enter in the following account information:
    • Email: Your full Trocaire Webmail address (ex: [email protected])
    • Description: Trocaire
    • Tap NEXT
  6. Tap Configure Manually
  7. Enter password
  8. Tap Next
  9. Enter the following account information:
    • Server: webmail.trocaire.edu
    • Domain: trocaire
    • Username: Your Trocaire username (ex: SmithJ)
    • Password
  10. Tap Next
  11. Tap Save
  12. Select which items you would like sync’d with your phone (calendar, email contacts, etc.) by selecting on/ off for each item.

Select Save and your device will sync with the Exchange email server. This may take several minutes.
